This is a 4 piece wiring kit that makes wiring of the Day Running Lights (DRL) Halo on 80 series a simple plug and play exercise.
Suits the Quad rectangular lights on Toyota 80 series Landcruiser.
If you have purchased a set of rectangular LED lights for 80 series, no matter the brand, if they have a DRL this wiring kit will make the DRL wiring effortless.
In all cases the earth or ground for DRL is via the 3 pin H4 plug of the headlight.
The yellow patch harnesses gets the power for the Indicators – there is one for each side. Disconnect the plug on the back of your apron indicator below the headlights and insert this patch harness between the 2 ends. This then presents you with a yellow power plug for each light. When the indicators flash now your DRL halo will also flash amber in sync with the indicators. This assumes your new LED lights have an amber flashing DRL – the JTX lights do.
The Red patch harness gets the power for the park lights – there is one for each side. Disconnect the plug on the back of the side clearance park light and insert this patch harness between the 2 ends. This then presents you with a red power plug for each light. When the parkers are on the DRL will be White.
All the hard work is done. It has all the right plugs and the lengths are all long enough to reach. What used to take 2 hours now only takes 2 minutes. Auto elecs buy these from us in bulk because for them time is money.
What’s included – the wiring with plugs to do indicator and park light DRL on both sides (4 x lights worth).
What’s not included – the headlights, the side corner lights nor the indicators – but we can get those for you.
